Get more done in less time with this simple productivity tip!

Your Weekly Power-Up for Real Estate Success
Hello Achievers! Welcome back to this week’s newsletter.
This week’s topic is productivity. We all only have 24 hours in a day. So, do you ever wonder why some get more done in a day than others?
That is what we shall explore in this edition of Elite Achievers Society…
Tools & Tips
Get More Done…
What is the #1 productivity hack I have learned in my career? TIME-BLOCKING!
Time-blocking is a simple but powerful productivity hack that helps you get more done daily and focus on what matters.

Time blocking is the key to managing your time to increase focus and productivity. It helps you know what to do and when to do it and keeps you from “multi-tasking,” which is a myth.
The first step to implementing this powerful tool is to grab a piece of paper and brainstorm your responsibilities.
Your lead generation
Your follow-up
Your admin-time

This is how you are going to start building your time block.
First, mark the top one. This is the one thing you must complete, and everything else hinges on it.
For me, and most of us, that is lead generation!
Mark this with a big mark; this is your #1 must-do thing!!
Now, go through and start labeling things in order of priority from there; remember, this does not have to be a perfect thing, as this will become a living and flexible thing that you can adjust as life shifts and changes.
Okay, this next part is going to be complicated. Humans are terrible at guessing how long things will take. But I suggest filling in how long you think each task will take. As the list grows, you will track the time and adjust it to make it more efficient.
After you have your priorities and your time estimates, it’s time to grab your calendar!
It does not matter what you plan to use, digital or physical; this process will work wonders for you.
You want to go to your next week and start filling in big “blocks,” starting at your highest priority items and going down.
Everyone has different responsibilities and needs, so this is not an exact science. However, you should lump similar items together in hour-long blocks. The trick is dividing your time into focus areas, not specific small tasks.
For instance, you wouldn’t have blocks for “take out the trash” and “make my bed”; you would want to have a block called “cleaning.”
Inside each block, you focus on one area of your life and nothing else. As you stick to the blocks and life shifts, you review what is working and what is not and adjust them as you go.

We cannot, of course, predict every little thing that will happen in our lives. If something suddenly takes you away from your block, you must remember one guiding principle.
A block cannot EVER be deleted.
If you need to do something else, like an emergency, move the block you would miss. You must find a time on your schedule to do this; otherwise, you can’t do it.
That’s the key to keeping you on track and getting more productive.
Another tip is to limit your distractions during the block. If you are, for instance, supposed to generate leads for two hours, turn off your phone and email. You can contact them later if someone tries to contact you during that time.
Protect your time at ALL costs!
Treat these like appointments with yourself. Let’s say someone asks you if you’re available when you are supposed to be prospecting. Many people will drop what they are doing and show that home or solve that person's issue immediately, right? Not you; that’s killing your productivity. Because this is a meeting with yourself, you must keep it, so tell that person you have prior engagements. You won’t be lying.

There you have it, a simple but powerful method to keep you on track and achieve more.
Let me know how this works out for you!
Agent Success Spotlight
Hit The Ground Running!
We had an agent join us recently, and I want to tell you his story.
This teacher had just started working in real estate full-time and was eager to start. He came to us, partnered with us at LPT Realty, and hit the ground running!
In his first two weeks of getting into the business full-time, Matt got his first listing, used LPT’s marketing tools and the methods we teach here, and got MULTIPLE OFFERS in just 3 days.
That home closed today, so I wanted to give Matt a shout-out in this week’s newsletter because… wow.
Great job, Matt. I am happy to partner with you!
